Like Mani, I have a pedigree Russian Blue cat.    His name is  мало мышелов , known to all here on TCS as Mouse.      I call him мыши,  or мыш мыш.   

Mouse and I live in the UK.  I visited St Petersburg many years ago when known as Leningrad, and hoped to visit again to come to Moscow but that holiday was cancelled - because of Chernobyl two weeks before I was due to travel.  It was very sad not to make that trip.  I have not had another oportunity to travel, but may be one day.  

I look forward to hearing more about your cats, and to read more posts from you on this site.  It is always interesting to hear from cat people in different parts of the world.

Freddie Mercury and Queen!  My goodness.  Many of my friends have been huge fans.  Me to some extent, I think he was an incredibly gifted person with an amazing voice.  I went to Zanzibar not long after I was meant to come to Moscow and I saw the house where Freddie Mercury was born.    

Mouse avoided the kiss on the nose but he let me give him kisses on each cheek, forehead and chin instead.  I hope that is OK.    Hugs and kisses to Eve, Evita and the naughty children.

WOW, a wonderful family you have there.    I am thinking your human family look like they might get up to more mischief than your cat family.     Your young children will be good at playing with your kittens so they are prepared for homes where they will meet other little children.  мыши got to meet the daughter and grandchildren of his breeder so he was used to getting picked up, squashed and carried about like a toy before I brought him home.     Now he just has me to annoy him.  

Zanzibar was a wonderful place: very hot and humid when I was there, and a smell of cloves in the air which I loved.     

Are there many breeders / nurseries for Main Coone in Russia?
