If she delivers them before you move, and you find them, try to take them with you.  How, depends on the exact circumstances, but my guess is, the mom will cooperate. Part of her friendliness with you, is she recognized you are hers and hers childrens best practical chance, so she is eager to please herself in to you.

If they are somewhere you can fetch them inside this, take them in that, if possibly kitties and mom inside.

If not,  prepare a box, and collect them in this box or carrier, take the box with them home.   Mom will surely follow you and them.  Even a real semiferale mom would probably follow you and her children to your home, as long as you arent scaring her off.

If mom delivers during the transport, dont worry - she will be in this carrier, and can surely deliver in there too.

She will be in no worse position than delvering outside homeless, after finding some sort of safe hole for the nest...

The only touchy is, if she runs into difficulties, but you cant help much as you drive... If possible,  Have a leash on her during the transport. Or at least, a necklage with your name and telephone number.

If somehting happens during the drive, it will be your chance to have some control.

Dont worry too much.  You ARE her best practical chance, and so be it as it is.

If she doesnt recoghizes the litter?  Use some dirt or even leafes from outside,  sprinkle some on the cat sand in the litter...  So she recognizes it.

Use common baked clay cat sand, no fancy perfumed variations.

Most cats recognize the litter for what it is.  Especielly someone in her situation, who must hide from predators at all costs, and thus - must hide all leftovers.

I agree the car would even be better than outside absolutely! But if she really nervous in the car then she'll prob put Labour on hold (heard they can do that)

Okay thank you for the advice! I'm really hoping she shows up soon. It's been a couple hours and no sign of her.

Mable is back and still pregnant! Thankfully. The roommate said she's not allowed in because of the Bengal and Persian. Apparently because they are special breeds their live is more important. Just got to get her to stay around for 2 more days.

Its normal precedure to have a rescued homeless in a quarantine, not letting him meet the residents before all health questions are checked, and the bill is clean.  especielly if the residents are inside only cats.

Many rescuers has the quarantine in the bathroom. Or in a cellar, shed, garage, or big dog cage.    I suppose you can have her in your car, as someone mentioned.

So it isnt really anything with them being purebreds costing perhaps a 1000 dollars apiece when buyed as young kittens.    The only difference is, your roommate is conscious about the necessity, whole many other cat owners "dont have an idea"

The  exceptions is if the residents are healthy, and used to roam outside.  Or are themselves ex rescueers.  In such a case it isnt necessary to overdo the quarantine, if the rescued cat is apparently healthy, as Mable here.

Do your best, and dont worry too much.

*QUICK UPDATE* Mable made the trip just fine. :) got her home and let her out, I'm pretty sure she's dropped. Instead of popping out she's hanging low.

What you are doing for her is so wonderful. You are obviously a very caring generous person, and we love that here!!

A few things I wanted to add here as I read through this thread.

One is you said you let her out at your new place? Like as in outside, free to roam? THAT is scary, with no acclimation time at all, I don't know what the surroundings are there, but she has not a clue where she is now, and will add to her stress, a new mom, pregnant as heck, a new home and other animals to get acquainted with. Where will she have the babies, will the others hurt her, etc.

She really does need to be contained now. She looks young and is likely inexperienced in birth and motherhood, and added stressors can cause her to get preoccupied and stressed, and not properly care for her babies through instinct.

If possible, de-flea her now before she has them, also deworm her, if you are able to. Especially de-fleaing though, as she has been outside and surely has fleas, which will give them generously to the babes too, and this can cause big trouble. Babies are so small, they don't have alot of blood anyway, and when they are infested with fleas they will get anemic easily, which can be life threatening for them.

Don't worry too much about her milk coming in yet, sometimes it doesn't come until the kids are here.

Provide a contained spot for her to nest, away from weather elements, animals, busy/noisy/activity.

A large cage would be ideal, covered with a sheet or blanket 2/3 of the way, leaving only the front open.

Sorry for the confusion. She is free roaming but in the house. :-) I had her in the bathroom last night so she didn't freak and hide and let her out this morning. She explored the house for about half and hour and has been sleeping on my bed since. I have flea meds but what type of dewormer should I get?

her nipples have gotten a little bigger but not much. Out of the 12+ hours shes been out in the house, she has been up roaming around maybe 2? of them. Other then that she been sleeping on the bed or the back of the couch. Is this a sign of something?

sign she is tired!  The tension is gone, now she can rest and sleep...  this is very common with freshly rescued homeless, when they had cool down and understand this is a safe place, and people here friendly to me.

How did you do the transportation,  practically?  What arrangements did you do?

Well done!

I had her in a cat carrier with her blanket. Stopped twice to give her some water.

I read all these and they sound good. Do keep her in tho. If she has them out they may get fleas or earmites.

Did she have them yet or go into labour?

Nothing yet! She's been sleeping under the bed all day, but I've also been unpacking so I'm not sure if she was just spooked.
