This has been one of those exhausting weeks in which on some fronts I have been very productive and on others I have been so unproductive I'm guilted practically to death. I should have been tearing home this evening to throw together something fast for supper so we could tear out the door in zero minutes, but got the email last night to tell me that the event was cancelled. What a gift! I actually managed to get out of the office a snitch early, had no errands to extend my homeward trip, and got home, half dead, before 6. Checked mail, threw jacket down, fed cats, and headed for the sack. Gonna grab an hour or so of zzzzzzzz before Rob gets home. Little visit to the bog, Fawn showed up to check on the proceedings and watch the flush, and Cindy presented herself at that moment. I said, "Hi, Bun. Mum's gonna lie down for a while, wanna cuddle?" She was on the bed waiting before I could get there. I settled, and she settled, and there she stayed vibrating loudly, occasionally licking my hand, while I snoozed, until Rob got home. And when I stirred and sat up to get up, I felt a soft paw on my back. Is she a sweetie, or what?
