Haha, can't blame you. I'm the same! And yep, Banjo does the same to me. But I KNOW he will be a very very big cat, because he's only a kitten and look at his size! I think it has to do with the breed, but I will definitely not overfeed him, but just let him be. He's very active so I am really not worried. His sister Coco, looks a lot like your adorable black cat and she is also growing but will be much smaller than Banjo. She eats at the same time than Banjo does, but eats less. They are playing, running after each other and jumping on each other all the time, so it's energy well spent ;)
It's so good that they have each other! Mine doesn't have any other kittens to play with, so of course I end up getting jumped

I was looking at your avatar picture, and Coco looks exactly like my boy did some months ago! Only thing is, she appears to have more white hairs!

I was worried about my Dingus being overweight as well but thanks for the information. I'll just keep an eye on him and run him ragged fishing for kitties.

Jet is my black kitty, and Charlie is my tabby :)
How crazy is this! Haha, so funny. Coco and Rose look just like Jet & Charlie when they're sleeping together! So cute. Brothers for life! They'e actually not related. Banjo came to my life first, a week before Coco. But thank God they got along when they slowly met. Now, they can't be apart from one another!

how adorable!!!! so i'm guessing your kitties are much closer in age?? they look super cute sleeping together and looking out of the window! haha. I'm sure they keep each other busy all day.

My Jet is a girl and she came into my life a month after Charlie, my boy. Charlie is two months older than Jet, so he really assumed the big brother position with her! they had a hard time getting along at first, but once they got used to each other, they are now inseparable!

Oh my, she's so precious!

Is her eyes green?

I'm just worried about what will happen next year. I'm not sure where I'm going to study, and how much of my time will be spent studying. Hopefully I will be able to take him with me, and since I'm counting that there's no need for me to work as well, I can study at home
If not, it will be horrible to leave him, but I know he will be happy here at home with the rest of the family.

The similarities are pretty incredible! My girl Coco is a month younger than Banjo. Introducing them was relatively easy over a long weekend (3 days). You know, first their smell, then seeing each other from the distance, then together under supervision. Coco was really little (about 8 weeks) so she instantly wanted to meet Banjo and cuddle with him. But Banjo wasn't that sure at first. He was 1 month older and had been an only cat before, so he was a bit spoiled. If anything, Banjo considered Coco an awesome toy at first and was a bit rough on her. So play took a bit of supervision at first. But now, he totally gets that Coco is his little sister and is much gentler with her.

Oh great! There's a "rest of the family" so he will have company :) That's great, and really important. Coco's eyes are kind of yellow/green, so the contrast with the black of her coat is pretty amazing :)
