So my bobtailed cat is pregnant with a gray toms kits I need tips and want to know what color they'll be.
Sage-shorthaired Tortie lynx point (she's either chocolate or lilac,I'm not sure) stumpy manx with icy blue eyes, has polydactyle paws
Bentear-(the only possible father) shorthair gray tom with a white dot on his chest,a longtail ,carries longhair, and has yellow green eyes.
So what color will they be?

I'm can't see the point coat pattern on your girl at all.
She looks like a blue torbie ( blue tortoiseshell and tabby ) to me.

Well all the females kittens will be a tortie or torbie because one of the parents as the red gene.
Both parents are a dilute colour so all the kittens will be too. Two dilute parents cannot produce a dominant colour kitten.
Tabby pattern is dominant over soild colours. So most of the kittens will have a tabby pattern but its possible a few will not.

So females kittens will be either blue torties ( blue tortoiseshell )or blue torbies ( blue tortoiseshell and tabby ) with or without white.

Males will all be solid blue or blue tabbies with or without white.

Just wanted to add that " blue" is correct term when referring to grey coat colours in cats.

Think of a Russian blue or British blue cat breed. Russian grey or British grey doesn't sound quite right. :lol3:

Oops just realised I missed red off the male kittens possible coat colour. :doh3:

I should have said -

Males will be either red tabbies or solid blues/blue tabbies with or without white.

:yeah: plus, the girls can be dark colored as well (blue, most likely, as it looks like both parents have the dilute gene) if they inherit the mama cat's dark gene instead of her red gene.

But if you don't know the parent cats' backgrounds you could get some surprises ;).

Thanks;) she's an indoor cat so her points aren't as dark..and I meant to put blue...but i didn't.And does anybody know if they'll have tails or not or if any will be polydactyl(also calledHemingway) Sage has six toes on her front 5 on her back;she's a really rare cat ,apparently.Theres a catshow in march ,and I think she's 3 weeks pregnant so she should have them by the end of march or early April so if we like the catshow we will show one of her kits in the house cat section because both parents have wonderful personalities even though breeding was unintended.I hoping they have her toes and some atleast have bobtails,I'm hoping they are not all gray.

That is definatly an adorable blue mackerel:)
Bent ears brother was almost like that but unlike Bentear left, Jonah was a classic blue tabby, but you couldn't see the pattern unless he was in a good lighting

Sage looks to me like a white blueberry Ive felt a kitten or two kick, she could have them anytime in this week or next(I'm not sure because Im not to sure when she got pregnant, but I know about when)...about a couple of minutes ago I took her temp(with an ear thermometer,I refuse to do rectal)and it was 96 I've read that means they can have them in 24-48 hours after the temp drops .I don't know what to do I was hoping I had a week left, help please.

I believe sage had a phantom pregnancy but I'm in denial because there's something in her belly I feel it so maybe...there's still hope

We believe she had a phantom pregnancy....but my mom had seen me depressed about it and put bentear and Sage back together, because I had bought everything she needed for them so I was a very upset that she hadn't been pregnant...when we thought she was. Well now she is and she's due next month.

It's been almost 4 months since I have last posted anything I would now like to say that because she baffled the vets with it I said if she's not pregnant this time I will pay to get her spayed. Well she's pregnant now, and my mother thinks that her water broke, her belly is hard, and she has been acting weird. Are these signs of impending labor.
