new on the block

Hi all! I'm not just a cat person, but an animal person ( check out profile), but I do have a strong connection with felines. I currently cohabitate with a rag doll cat, and a humane society rescue. My dad growing up always had numerous cats and dogs. He's an old country boy, and animals seem to "hunt" him down looking for refuge. I seem to have inherited his ability. One of the reasons I began searching for a site like this ismy recent move from back woods country to inner city. I'm struggling with all the cats that need help here, and am looking for guidance...
