Tabitha has a tiny play mate named Sapphire

Tabitha now has a new little girly named Sapphire/Saffy, she is a russian blue cross burmese and although they are only just 3 weeks different in age, Tabitha looks double her size hehe! here is our new addition to the family

Your kittens are really gorgeous

Tabitha has a beautifully marked brown mackerel tabby pattern and Sapphire is a very cute blue and white classic tabby.

I probably shouldn't ask this but it's about Sapphire being a Russian blue cross Burmese.
Sapphire has a tabby pattern and neither a Russian blue or Burmese cat have a tabby pattern. They are both a breed which is only a solid colour no tabby patterns.
So where does she get her tabby pattern from ? ?

For a cat to have a tabby pattern one of the parents must have a tabby pattern.

Hmmm I do not know her dad is a Russian blue but I think maybe the mother is some sort of cross with burmese actually and Thank you for your lovely comments I agree they are nice looking cats

They certainly are both little beauties
