I have two beautiful domestic short hair babies. I got Maia when she was 8 weeks outside a supermarket. There was a girl giving them away and I ended up with my adorable baby girl. I was excited seeing her grow up and being so playful and when I started college that year (2012) my boyfriend and I decided to get a brother for Maia since I was going to be away for most of the day. We searched for kittens on craigslist and found the adorable Foley! We actually had to go to a town two hours from home but we had fallen in love with the beautiful orange tabby. We kept him in thr bathroom for a couple of days because he was very shy, wouldn't let anybody touch him. When he and Maia started hanging out it wasn't bad at all. She actually was happy to have somebody to play with. She likes to play rough but she's small and he is a month younger than her but is enormous. Everything about him is big, he weighs 14 pounds... well that was last time I weighed him, he likes to stare at the mirror and he steps in the scale so he exhausted the cable's battery. So one day they were playing and he probably bit her too hard that she was limping. Me being as worried as anybody can be rushed her into the vet. He had bit her hand and I am a witness that it hurts. I know he doesn't mean to be so rough but that's his nature. The doctor gave her a shot and nothing else. The next day she was shivering horrible and I again rushed her to the vet. They gave her antibiotics this time but I had to pay $100 for each visit. She got way Bette with the antibiotics and he never hurt her again. He does like to give me hi fives but his claws are so strong that I am full of scars
