Hello, some of you may have read some of my posts about looking for our first family cat. We initially wanted to stay away from the kitten crazies, however my husband and I just rescued two older kittens (6-7 mo)from a local shelter. Their kill date was feb12 the shelter was holding on to the kittens a few more days because they were so sweet.Their were three kittens in all, and then a much younger male kitten in a cage alone....also past the "kill date".we had only chosen one, but when we found out theyd be put to sleep soon my husband decided we needed two. The humane society actually handles all adoptions for the shelter so when we took our kitten "number" to the humane society to pay we talked them in to taking the other two kittens into their facility (no kill).so next week as soon as they have had all vaccines, a vet check, deworming, flea preventative, spayed, and microchipped we can bring them home. And the remaining two kittens are safe too
