Another new one here!

Hi! My name is Karen. I live in Frankfurt, Germany with my husband and two cats, a 3-year old female Russian Blue and a 4-year old male black domestic shorthair. I teach medical science at a university in Frankfurt. I participate in a couple other forums, but in German only, and am looking forward to learning more about our feline furr-iends here.

Willkommen, Karen! We live in the greater Stuttgart area, hence the German spelling of Mogli's name. I'm an American married to a German, so Mogli is used to English rather than German; we do clicker training, and he reacts to instructions in English only, much to my husband's dismay.

We're looking forward to hearing more about your cats and seeing lots of pictures.

Lenya won't respond to training, but Bärli will do anything for his food. We've trained him to "sitz" (sit), "komm her" (come- he also responds to his name), "gib pfötchen" (shake paws),and "bleib" (stay). He's still working on shake paws though.
