Why do cats eat things like fresh bread, basil, dill, herbs in general, cooked sweet potatoes, nut butter, stinky cheese (blue, parm, etc), spinach, blackberries, avocados, and other non-carnivore foods?

It's getting really annoying.

They are in good health, shiny coats, energetic, great muscle tone, regular poops, good blood work, etc.

I've had to barricade my cupboards and replant my seedlings over and over.

Ideas? Should I just make them their own garden?

you COULD make them their own garden...with Catnip in it
.  As to why they are drawn to human food...only they know
.  Maybe they see YOU eating it and want to be like you
