Following some posts which were made recently, I'd like to clarify a few things.

1. This forum is for any cat-related threads that are not a discussion about cat care or questions for cat advice. Neither are they picture threads (which belong in Fur Pictures Only). Which leaves us with threads about the general tales and thoughts either about cats in general, or specifically about the cats in our lives.

2. Threads where you write as a cat are allowed in this forum, and in this forum only. However, threads do not have to be in this format. Writing as a person about cats is just fine. This is not a forum intended solely for "cat speak" or writing "as a cat".

3. We ask that users respect the original thread starter's topics and style of posting. If the thread started as "cat speak" or first-person tales from a cat, either continue in the same way, or respectfully stay out of that thread. By the same token, do not post "as a cat" in a thread that started in the third person.

4. As everywhere else on the forum, do not hijack threads and stay on topic. Personal conversations should be taken to PM's. If you want to branch out to a different topic altogether, consider starting your own thread. This rule applies across the board, of course.

Last, but not least, please remember that our forum rules apply here, in the same way they do everywhere else on the board. Writing as a cat does not exempt you from them
Kitty may be doing the talking, but it's you, our member, who could be getting warnings and infractions (we'd never do that to a cat, after all!)

I'm locking this thread for responses and would like to take the opportunity to remind everyone of our rule #8 -
Refrain from posting complaints and negative feedback on the public forums. Public discussion of any Mod actions, such as thread editing, thread removal and revocation of memberships, is strictly prohibited. Complaints and feedback of any kind are welcome when delivered courteously via PM's to team members, or directly to the site owner, Anne at [email protected].
Feel free to PM me with any kind of feedback, negative or positive. It is always welcome, as long as it's delivered privately, in a friendly and polite manner.

Thank you and happy posting!
