Awww they are so adorable ....they have moms colors...im happy for you hun...the waiting is over at last.
I'm not totally sure the wait is over for us as there may be another one or 2 but given the weights that may be why she was so huge, I think I can feel another one but its hard to tell now there's more room in her tummy

So I'm about 90% sure there is at least one more baby still to be delivered, my question is: assuming she remains happy, content, eating etc how long do I leave it before worrying? Do I just leave it another day (last one was born at 1.20am this morning) or do I think that maybe it's one of those 'double pregnancy' cases where she will deliver in a few weeks?? As I've said before she's really happy and content at the moment so I'm not worried now but would like to know when to become worried

What makes you believe there is another kitten? I have helped deliver many litters, from 3 kittens to 8 kittens and almost always thought there was another but realized that the cat is very swollen after birth and some of the organs may even feel like another kitten.

Yes you may be right of course, she was very very big though and before the last one was delivered I could feel 2 distinct babies (or at least thought I could) and now on just one side there's a moving thing that seems to move away from my gentle pressure then move back, so yes could well just be organs moving back into place I suppose as i am in no way experience fed this is the first pregnant animal I've ever dealt with

Oh yes frequently, even when I move the cheeky one to a free nipple it's not good enough when they've set their mind on stealing off a sibling lol. Last night Daisy took frequent breaks from the nesting box and just went and lay on the floor or my bed for 5-10 mins before coming back, I think she needs a break from being climbed all over lol

Thought I'd do a little update now the kitties are a week old, Daisy did stop at the 4 kittens though I'm sure I still feel *something* in her tummy but who knows, I guess I don't really know what. Non pregnant tummy should feel like lol.
The kittens are all doing well and are almost all over 200g (one of them is 197g so nearly there) we have one kitten with one full eye open and the other just a tiny bit open, can't wait till they all have them open

Here's some new pics, the first one is a co parison from day 1 to day 4 and they look even bigger again now! The last one is Tabs snuggled up with me, I've fell in love with the little tiger face and she (I think its a she) is staying with me

I just read through this whole thread.

Gorgeous kittens! They have really pretty markings and Daisy is a real sweetheart too.

I'm glad she found you to take care of her and her babies.

Which part of the UK are you in? I'm from Bristol originally.

Thanks, the kittens are getting more cheeky now and have started playing with each other which is so cute to watch and also when we hold them they'll try and catch our fingers, I'm still astounded at the rate they grow and change. The kids are great with them and Daisy has been fine with them holding them from day 1 though if one makes a noise when my eldest who is 13 is holding one then she comes and takes it back off him but not off anyone else which of course the other 2 find hilarious especially when the other day the one he was holding was silent but the one my daughter held made a big loud meow and she jumped right up on the bed and stole the quiet one from my son assuming it was his fault :p

They are so very precious sometimes I wish I knew how Lilly's kits would look but i know we did right by her spaying her when she was a kitten herself it still would of been lovely to have four legged babies running about the place!

It's the reason I've decided to look into fostering pregnant cats once these are a little older, Daisy came to me pregnant and will be spayed once its safe to do so but it's been so enjoyable I really want to do it again :D

Hopefully this will work adding a video of the kittens taking their first steps on the floor, they've only been in their box or on my bed so far

So pretty!

I love the one with the little black yin yang mark on the back. Is that one a boy or a girl? Do you have names for any of them yet?
