Today's question of the day is an easy one -

How are you feeling today, both mentally and physically?

I'm feeling ok. A little tired and a little nauseous but that comes with being pregnant. It's much worse this time since I already have a 17 month old to take care of and can't just lay around when I am tired.

What a time to ask! My husband's 'little' uncle, who was our best friend and best man at our wedding 36 years ago, died yesterday of heart failure at 56 years old. So besides feeling depressed about this, I've got at least 30 relatives coming to town that I've got to get ready for. AND, now to top it off, I'm finally SICK!!!!!
My muscles ache, I'm coughing nonstop, and I just feel terrible! But I have to keep working because the other district nurse is out of town all week and I'm the only one left!!!! I really want to be home to comfort my poor husband, but instead have to work while I'm feeling like this!
Thanks for letting me give off steam!!! ( and I'm NOT going to say it couldn't get any worse! )

Your timing is impeccable.

Physically: l had to get out of bed overnight, sick. l won't elaborate.

Mentally: Everything is coming together in the perfect negative storm. l lost my dog, l owe way more money on my taxes than anticipated, and my car that l recently sank 5k into has now died.

COME ON, can't someone feel good, why are we all sick!!!!!!
OK.....I feel fine physically - no puking, sneezing, coughing, fever or anything like that, just normal aches from abnormal wear and tear, BUT I am having a Mortimer Snerd day. Went to bed overtired, slept poorly and feel very stupid today...even forgot to give the cats their dinner. I am barely coherent and am having trouble understanding even the weather report. I feel a nap coming on :)

I am feeling well physically, and ok mentally. I have felt both happy and frustrated today, but I know a little orange guy with whiskers that always puts a smile on my face :D

So sorry to those that lost loved ones.

I shouldn't complain, but I'm tired. Between nursing school being draining both physically and mentally, I started running again so I'm even more tired than before. I remind myself when I don't feel like running, " At least I CAN run." Otherwise I can't complain. I'm doing OK, my cats are extremely healthy, and I'm one of the few students passing all classes this semester.

I don't hurt any where. My mind is clear and I feel good. Yes, I am blessed and thankful because lots of folks my age are in nursing homes or gone.

Today I'm feeling good.  Unfortunately that's not always the case.

I think the weather is making me feel good, no snow and the sun is out.  Raining on and off tho, tomorrow should be a good day to run some errands including getting to the library.

Tired, both mentally and physically. However, I can sleep late tomorrow and take a break from marking exams, so it's just a passing thing a good night's sleep should take of.

We're not dealing with tons of snow here, which really helps.

Went to first prenatal/just got paperwork and talked to few people.  No Dr until next time.  Tired from lack of sleep as I tend to wake up so I do not oversleep.  Otherwise great as got ball rolling.  Just a bit nervous as had so many blood tests and feel like 1 has to be bad.  Have not had blood work in many many years

I'm feeling both physically and mentally better than I have in a long time!  It was pouring this morning but now the sun is out and it's actually WARM!  So it's really perked me up!  I've been lacking patience for everything and everyone lately.  We need this good warm sunshine!!

Oh, pick me! Pick me!

I am psyched today. I went shopping for bird feeders and bird seeds. And then in school we had a "scavenger hunt", IT-style. We were supposed to scan computer ports to look for a hidden web server, and then find a backdoor into that server, and change the login message by adding our name onto it to let our professor know that we've found the backdoor. First person to do it gets 5 extra credit points. Guess who that was? :D

This evening my friend is introducing me to the Star Wars universe - a 6-hour marathon of as many movies we can watch. STOKED.

Because I am cranky, I forgot to mention that the Wednesday question of the day is up for grabs! If anyone is interested in taking it over, just send me a pm. :bigthumb:

Wonderful! I don't know why, but this is probably the best I have felt in weeks. I had a great walk yesterday and I'm looking forward to another one today. No headache, no knee ache, no ankle ache. Nothing aches!
Came into work this morning, drove myself, the sun was shining, and the music was blaring. We're going to get some rain later on today, but it's rain. Not snow. Rain!

Today? Life is good. (Rick told me yesterday that it's amazing how much my moods are governed by the weather.)

Cory, that was amazing. I wish I could do things like that. And Star Wars! Gosh, I haven't seen a Star Wars movie since my son was small; he was really into the whole Star Wars universe and I watched so much Star Wars it wasn't funny. I forget how many times I took him to the first SW movie.....many, many moons ago.

I hope that those of you who are feeling ill feel better soon.

Karen, at least it's not snow!

Answering this for Wednesday, I was a wreck. I had a midterm Wednesday night that I wasn't too worried about, but another Thursday morning that super stressed me. I forgot my anti-anxiety medication at home, so I was super anxious all day. I couldn't stop fidgeting during a group meeting. It was not a comfortable day. I ended bombing the midterm I wasn't worried about, but I think I did really well for the one I was stressing over.

Ugh, I'm ready to graduate already!

Bring Oliver to your midterm. Say he's your service animal. No one will challenge that. :D
