What do hairballs look like? i was laying on my bed and I heard Jake, who was on the other side of the bed coughing. I looked and saw him throw up. When I looked at the mess, it was not liquidy.

When Muffy gets hairballs, it looks like poop (sorry, pretty gross) in liquid. I guess it's just really compressed hair. (Makes me glad I'm not a cat.)
The first time I saw a hairball at a friend's house, I thought it was a turd. So Dawn gave a pretty good description of one. Like a turd in yellowish liquid.
