So I feel horrible for saying this but Chloe is at a shelter. We thought maybe she would have a better chance at a happier life. When Chloe had Little Man...she didn't know she had him. He was the 5th kitten to be born and she was tired. We had to interfere and break the sack because she was totally oblivious. Therefore we think they never bonded. He would always chase and aggravate her and over the past few years...she was becoming a different cat. She actually started to hiss at us. And the others that she was getting along with...she would hiss at them even if they walked by her. A few times she would just squat down and pee on the carpet in front of us. Maybe I'm just trying to justify taking her to a shelter...but it was the best of intentions. We feel horrible...because we won't know her fate...if she gets a happy ending...or if they put her down. Ugh....darned if you do and darned if you don't. I was just trying to do the best thing for her. :/
On the other hand...our recent addition is no longer an addition. We found out that he belongs to the neighbor. That he was an indoor/outdoor cat. We got him neutered and he has been inside for the last month. When we gave him back they just put him back outside. So all we can do is keep food/water outside and an a box with some blankets.
I guess let the criticism begin...I guess I deserve it....
