This picture is just as I walked in the door and had to set the carrier down for a second. The girls are checking out the newcomers and wondering what mom has done now!

I got them in the spare room, where they will stay for awhile, and gave them food and water. Hallie immediately starts chowing down and wouldn't let Jake in there. I've nick named her MIss Piggy!

Finally Jake gives up and decides to check out the corner until Hallie is finished.

I showed them the litter box. Jake wanted to pose for the camera while Hallie was in the kitty potty doing her business.

Jake decides the weather is nicer on top of the kitty potty and Hallie exits.

That's it for now! I'm sure there will be more later. Poor little Hallie has been very stressed and is kind of thin right now. From what I understand, she was being picked on by one of Teresa's queens. She is shaved too so I think that makes her look even thinner. Thanks to Teresa for trusting me to take care of her babies and having the faith that Hallie will do well here!

Here's hoping they respond quickly to your TLC. I love the coloring of Hallie and I am sure she will start looking better soon after she gets over the shock of everything new in her environment.

OMG you guys are the best! Thanks so much!

Yes, I think that's a good sign she is eating like a piggie. I may keep her and Jake in the spare room a bit longer then necessary just so she can get a good start on eating before introducing her to the whole house!

Sicy, let me look at the litter box brand. I'll let you know later. It's a corner box and has a sifter tray in it too. It also has a flap on the door but I took that off at first so they know where the potty is.

Hope, you make me all choked up! Thanks sweetie. And you're welcome here anytime. You can stay in the spare room Jake and Hallie are in right now!

I love the picture of Jake - he looks as if he is posing for his picture. I'm sure Hallie will come along as soon as she knows that she is in her forever home. It looks like Jake will settle in pretty quickly. At least your husband will have another male around the house.lol

Congratulations on your two new furbabies

Here is the info on the litter box for anyone else who wants it. It's called Catty Corner.

I can't wait to see them fill out & look as lovely (almost) as Peaches!

I like the litterbox, too - am wondering if it's heavy to sift, or if it's easy to lift out.

This is Jake finding the bed.

Now he's purring and just feeling all at home!

Belly scratches!

Hallie getting scratches (She just discovered the bed too.)

Hallie sitting up. She has a sweet little face.

Jake getting ready to explore another area of the room.

He found the window to the world!

And the cat tree! Sorry these aren't great but they are in front of a window!

I am so happy they are settling in so quickly. I know they are happy to have a bit more room and privacy. They are both a bit shy at the food bowl and Hallie will often just walk away before she is full. I am hoping that this is the enviornment they need to blossom into the beautiful cats they are. Thanks Tammie for allowing them to become part of your family!

Her face is in there! You just have to look a little bit!

She has her eyes closed so everything does kind of run together.

Right now it's harder to photograph Hallie since she is a little more shy and nervous. And I don't want to push her too much.
