I noticed tonight that Tippi appears to be missing one of her front canine teeth on the upper left hand side and the bottom left canine is rubbing on her lip . The right side appears to be coming through ok .

What I want to know is do the teeth come through at different speeds ?

She's over four month now so her baby teeth should be getting replaced ?

two weeks ago I took this picture of her yawning and there was clearly a top set of canine teeth , I am wondering if these are her second teeth and she might have broken this tooth off which is why the others are coming through and this one isn't .

Is this just a normal teething problem as she's still chewing on a cardboard box every now and then or should I seek advice from the vet .

Adult teeth come in at various times between 4 and 6 months.  Sometimes the adult tooth comes in and the baby teeth are still present.  I would be a bit concerned about the tooth rubbing on the lip as this can cause a sore or a hole in the lip.  Keep an eye on that spot and if it looks irritated and not healing, then I would have a vet look at it because they can trim the tooth so it wont rub.
