As much as I hate doing it, I suspect we'll need to switch our guys food soon. They were on Blue wilderness and the boys did really well, but then we finally (after3 years) discovered that the cause of Sybil's ear infections seems to be a severe sensitivity to chicken. So we switched to Blue basics turkey and potato. Now Sybil's doing great but Random barfs up his kibble maybe once a week. My guess is that he can't do the potato since he gets turkey canned and is fine. Wendel just seems to do better on grain free - it keeps his weight in chevk.

So, any suggestions for a grain free, chicken free, potato free kibble? ;)

They all eat together and the boys get wet food for dinner. Sybil will only eat dry, despite our best efforts.

This is really tough. The chicken free ones are usually fish-based which I would not recommend for daily feeding. The only thing I can think of is Ziwipeak lamb, which is not exactly kibble, more like jerky in texture. I seem to remember mention of a rabbit based kibble, but I don't think it's grain/potato free. :( I hope some other members can think of some more useful suggestions for you.

Yikes, I don't know if there are any dry foods like that. I'd probably be inclined to just put the boys on all canned and only let Sybil have the dry food. It would require some restructuing of mealtimes but would probably be easier than finding a food that meets those specs.

Thats actually something we've been talking about. At this point we're thinking of trying a different food with less potato to see if maybe its just too much potato, then just switching the boys to wet if that doesn't work. I've also thought about putying a golf ball in Randoms food, just to be sure its not a scarf-n-barf.

Are you sure the throwing up is do to the food? I have 7 cats and one throws up from time to time. I wouldnt think once a week would be because of the food. But from just eating to fast.
