I recently had my male kitten neutered. After I brought him home from the clinic, the discharge paper work stated he could have a lumps or hardness near the point of the incisions. This was supposed to be normal and should be gone after two weeks. It's been four weeks and he still has a lump at the incision area. Has anyone had a similar experience? I don't want to take him to the vet if not needed. He doesn't appear to be in any discomfort. He has the incision on abdomen due to a raised testicle. Thank you for any help.

If I were you I would call the vet clinic and ask the person who answers the phone to ask the vet about this. An abdominal incision could involve a small hernia.
