I am trying to arrange the transport of a cat from Kansas City, MO to Chicago, IL via St. Louis.

The situation is this: The owner of a persian cat named FuManChu must rehome her cat.  He pees on the floor and is no longer using the litterbox at all.  She has had him to 2 different vets and physically, he is fine.  She has tried every thing I and others can think of (puppy pads, different litters, newspapers, even crating him), worked on this for over a year, and has worked with a behavorist all to no avail.  The problem is stress -- she has 2 toddlers and a dog.  Rather than keeping him confined to a cage for the rest of his life (he's only 2yrs old), she has agreed to rehome him.

After she made many calls and received many rejections by local 'rescues' (who refused to help because he pees on the floor) and the breeder refused to take him back, I stepped in and found a rescue in Kenosha, WI (Specialty Purebred Cat Rescue) who will take him, work with him, and find him a home.

The problem is the cat is in Emmett, KS, the rescue is in Kenosha, WI, and I am in southern California.

So, I contacted Imagine Home, a volunteer group that helps transport cats.  They will do it, but they need drivers for the 7 legs of the transport.  The first and last ones are covered -- it's the middle ones from Kansas City to Schaumburg, IL that still need filling.  The dates are 8-9 March.

If anyone can help transport FuManChu, please go to the Imagine Home site and sign up!  http://www.imaginehome.org/wp/?sheet_id=61
