Does anyone know where to find a heated cat pad battery run for outdoor shelter. The only ones I can locate all have cords that have to be plugged in. This is not doable outside. This winter has been particularly brutal as we all know and there are feral stray cats in the back of my building that my neighbor and I have been trying to take care of them the best we can. We both have cats the house and cannot take more in.

I have never seen or heard of one that runs on batteries.  Yet, you can get them that you heat in the microwave and place in their shelter.  The discs can stay warm for 4-12 hours depending on the outside temperatures.  I do have outdoor plugs, but before I purchased the electric heat pads, I used the microwave discs.  They provided a nice warmth.  I now use them to place the wet food on when it is below freezing.  This allows the wet food to stay unfrozen for 2-4 hours!  Even when it has been below 0.  You can search on Amazon for the snuggle safe microwave heat discs.

Thanx very much. I was aware of the microwave ones, and glad to hear they work. unfortunately, i work long hours and am out as long as 10 hours so it would not last. Also, I live in a walk up. It seems at least one company should have battery run heating pads! Thanx again!
