Hi all..
I would like to get all 5 of my cats kittens immunized before re-homing them to ensure they are atleast protected as kittens. I have only had adult cats so im not sure. . How old? How many vaccines would each kitten need? Do vets charge each kitten as a single patient or as a whole? Any other information would be grear, thanks :)

Hi, it's great you want to give your kittens the best start in life.
I'm not sure which country you are in but I'm in England and this is how it works over here.

Kittens need two vaccinations 3 weeks apart. They have their first one at 9 weeks old and the second at 12 weeks old.
My vet treats them as a whole litter under the mom cats name eg "Maddies kittens"

Some vets give a discount if vaccinating that many at the same time. So it's worth ringing around to see if any vets will do this for you. Otherwise it is pretty expensive my vet changes £25 per vaccination per kitten so £50 a kitten. That means a litter of 5 kittens to be fully vaccinated with 2 injection would cost a whopping £250 altogether
