For those of you that have been or are married, what was your wedding song?

Ours was "Groovy Kind of Love" by Phil Collins :music3:

I Don't Want to Miss a Thing by Aerosmith. The first time he said I love you was while we were dancing to that song, so it automatically became our song.

I honestly don't remember, and neither does DH. Isn't that awful?
:lol3:

I just asked DH if we had one and then we both laughed. We didn't have a special song and bride & groom dance. We had a ceilidh band and everybody just got up and danced and had fun.

It was Frank Sinatra's Strangers in the Night.   During our years of dating that song came out and we both loved it soooooooo it was our song.

Bryan Adams-Everything I do, I do it for you.

Ahhh, sigh. "Look into my eyes, you will see, what you mean to me.

Search your heart, search your soul, and when you find me there you'll search no more.........."

LOVE that song :)

We didn't have a wedding song. I was 16, Rick was 19. The only people in the church other than we two were the sets of parents and our brother and sisters. Honestly, the music sounded more like a funeral dirge than music for a wedding.

We didn't really have much of a wedding and that is something that I've rather regretted, but back then you did not "celebrate" two people getting married because the girl was pregnant. At least not in our family.

We didn't have a wedding song (or a big formal wedding).  (Nor did I want a big formal wedding...we were going to go to the JP until his mom had a fit about our getting married in a church.)

A friends sister sang a John Denver's Annie's Song and also You Light UP My Life. Our preacher sang The Lords Prayer, with no music. It was heart stopping. I will never forget.
