Hairball control my butt!

I've been feeding the girls Purina indoor cat chow with "hairball control" and they've hacked up more hairballs in the past month than in their entire two years of life! I think I'm going to switch them back to their old food which was Friskies and put some vasoline on their paws once in awhile to help prevent hair balls. 

You could try egg yolk lecithin. That's what I use to stop hairballs and no hairballs since I started using it. My cat used to have a hairball or two a week.

I used a hairball food years ago. I had the same experience. i figured thats what it did. (made them throw up the hairballs)LOL  But honestly what is it supposed to do? I know when i keep my cats bushed, they dont get them.
