Hi there. 
I'll start off by saying I've never been a cat person because my mom was allergic, so growing up, I never had cats. I'm 26 now and I got my first place about two years ago and the first thing I did was get a cat, cuz I've always wanted one. Somehow, I ended up going a little kitty cray cray and I now have 5 cats, all of them were adopted as kittens! I have Ares, a grey tabby, Luna, a long haired and very opinionated tortie, Aphrodite and Selene, who are sisters, just domestic black short-hairs, and then Kitten Mittens (Who was supposed to be Venus, but she only answers to Kitten Mittens thanks to my boyfriend!) who is what I THINK is a muted or diluted tabby. Mittens is the one in my profile photo! Just wanted to say hi, and I will probably be posting here a LOT from now on, as I've gotten addicted to reading the threads and we are about to move, so I'm gonna be looking for input to help my kitties take the move better and hopefully resolve some litter box issues! So hi, and I can't wait to participate in some great kitty discussions! Pics below.
Here's Luna! She and Selene don't get along very well, looking into some Feliway to hopefully help that issue out...

Selene LOVES to be in boxes!! (And she is the tiniest of all our kitties, though Mittens is the youngest!)
And Aphrodite, who is quite a bit bigger than this now, but she is kind of a loner and is not a fan of the camera!
