So far, so good. She definitely has an appetite! On top of her tin of wet food each day, she's eating her grain-free kibble, which is left out for her around the clock. I'm actually considering upping the amount of wet food..she's definitely happiest with that.

Her belly continues to grow. *smiles* She was in my room earlier, so I reached down to say hello and her babies are VERY active. Even in dim light, I could see the movements and it felt like they were having quite the little party in there. lol

I've taken to monitoring her temperature every morning, under her front leg. Three days so far and a consistent 38.2 Celsius each day.

She's not looking for any nesting spots, but does like the bed I put together in my wardrobe for her, as well as the box she has by my bedroom door. She also likes the upper bunk in the bedroom two of my boys share. She meows, he gets up and lets her climb up him to get in and then to get out in the morning. He's almost 11 and quite enamoured with her. He knows enough not to bother her and I think she really appreciates that with him.

Beyond that..I've noticed one peculiar habit she has. If she's in front of a window, she'll claw at it. It reminds me of a vertical version of digging in a litter box. I'm open to ideas on why she's doing this. It's not about seeing birds, as she does this at windows where birds aren't usually visible..and she does it during the night, too.

I think she really is quite tired of carrying these little ones around. The box is fairly tall..over a foot. In there she has towels, clean cotton cloth diapers, hand towels and wash cloths that she stole from the bathroom...lol

It's now been more than two weeks since I've been able to see movement, but her underarm temp is still 38 to 38.5 Celsius. I hope (for her sake) that it isn't much longer!

Awww poor baby she looks tired...so its Daisy Susie Lilith and Silver...we are all waiting for our babies.
She is tired.
Woke up long enough to eat her tin of treat food, clean herself and use the litter. Then it back to laying down!

For two weeks now, I've been taking her temperature under her arm. She's not impressed with it at all, but tolerates it as a part of her morning routine.

She's consistently had temps ranging from 38 degrees Celsius (100.4 Fahrenheit) to 38.5 (101.3). Today, she is at 37.3 (99.14).

Babies have dropped..her little hips are sticking out SO much! She ate the equivalent of 2 1/2 5 ounce cans yesterday. So it's not that she isn't eating. But this morning, she picked at it. Not totally interested like she usually is.

I also noticed the beginning of dilation when I was giving her a back scratch.

I'm getting excited!

She's starting to look downright depressed. The babies aren't moving as much and she isn't eating as much, either. Other than that, I'm not seeing much happening.
I'm really beginning to wonder how much longer she has. I've been watching the babies moving for almost three weeks, now. I'm also noticing that she's almost constantly twitching her tail. For two days, her temps have been around 37.3 Celsius (around 99 Fahrenheit) under her arm.

Oh, me too.
In the first picture, she was just too...tired? Bummed out? to even bother getting upset when I touched her belly.

I WISH I knew when she mated. My mother in law tells me she was in heat right up until the day before we brought her home (January 9th). But putting that date with being able to see her babies move and her size doesn't make sense to me.

@StefanZ You've been a huge help to me so far (THANK YOU!!!)..does her 'symptoms' match a mating date ranging from January 2nd to the 8th?

No, nothing yet.

I think she's taking this whole attitude thing of hers a bit too far. lol When I fed her earlier, I mentioned to her that it was perfectly fine for her to have her kittens and she gave me that 'I am NOT amused' look. Little stinker.

Oh well. Chances are she'll wait until the day after tomorrow, or March 3rd. I'm not home on either day!
