I have tried Friskies canned foods in chicken and turkey

this past 2 weeks and also Fancy feast grilled and also classic

varieties of canned food.

Today I split a 3.3 ounce can of Fancy Feast Salmon flavored

and they LOVED it.

They have always prefered anything with salmon in it.

Does the fish flavored foods or ones that say they have

some salmon or fish in them harm the cats

and if so, how..

Please share all thoughts as I have to go to the grocery

store this weeked to buy more canned food..

Update on how I am doing changing the 3 adult male cats from grain free dry

to canned food.

I am beginning to calm down and less stress..doing it

I take one can of fancy feast 3.3 ounces and split between the 3

at 7 am...they act like they are starving to get food but then slow down

and seem content when through.. The 23 and half pound cat Peebo who is to lose

some weight gets a table spoon of dry grain free with his breakfast.

Noon I do the same thing

Mid afternoon ..once in a while  a tablespoon of  the grain free dry

Simply nourishing food to each cat..

5 pm the wet canned food divided with me watching each one

to make sure Peebo does not eat their food..

I have to watch him 3 times a day..

and take the plates up...

They all seem to be doing well..and if I am home I can handle the 3 feedings..

Mine always have liked to have more small meals and they do not eat a lot

at each feeding..

will weigh Peebo once a week  same day , same time..

I feed a few of the Fancy Feast Classic pates. I avoid the flavors that contain "sodium nitrate", which is the salmon.

I use the pates in my rotation also, however, very rarely will feed them any of the fish varieties.  Maybe once a month?  Probably not even.  To me as well, it's a treat. My male cat had a UTI a few years ago, and since stopping feeding him seafood, he hasn't had another one since.
