Sorry no one responded.  Did she have her kittens?  I don't know anything about pregnant cats or newborns, but thought I would just check on you since you hadn't gotten any replies.  Hope everything is going ok with your little one (s?)

The last 2 nights pitch has been acting strangely (may be normal but not sure) she's been meowing and going up and down the stairs rooting in her litter tray jumping in my daughters cot rummaging in my husbands work clothes then waking me once I'm asleep to follow her down to use the litter tray to wee or poop her kittens were born 15/02/2014 finding the behaviour odd as she was never like this until recently its as if she needs reassurance to use her litter tray
So it's long and thanks for reading xxx

Spraying kittens is brill idea but some may not want her but then that shows you they want to breed. Up to you though xx

I know that vets in my area wont spay until 3 months of age or when they weigh 3 pounds.  Considering the kittens can leave their mom at 8 weeks, do you want to keep them an extra month?  Getting them fixed before adoption is best and most humane societies have them fixed before adoption.

Lol they are cute just not sure when to start socialising them with my children as I've got a 20 month old daughter and a 10 yr old daughter :/
Hopefully your daisy will deliver soon I had the 15th of February in my head for ages and couldn't think why and that's the day pitch had her babies she only had 3 and weighed 3.8kgs heavily pregnant so she's tiny but these look big and healthy
And also I never saw pitch contracting at all and just purred and wanted attention which we found odd cause she was a feral stray we took in in December who was pregnant lol but she's booked in to be spayed in 6 weeks time so no more babies for her xxx

Congratulations on the kittens. I am sure it will be challenging to introduce them to your children. Hope it all goes well.

I think they say from 2 weeks to begin socialising them, I'd certainly say you'd be safe to let your 10 yr old handle them but maybe wait a little longer for your youngest? I've got 3 kids they're 13, 11 & 5 and I plan on letting them handle the kittens from about a week or so old so long as Daisy is,ok with me handling them by that time and so long as I keep it to short bursts.

Your kittens are adorable..I want to squeeze them!! So fat....letting your 10 yr old first is best..give her a responsability with them and letting her do small things for them..it shows them how to take care of them early on....and she will love it and feel all grown lol....20 month old uhm let her pet them but only when you are there I think depends on the childs temperament.. ..2 weeks is good time.

Her kittens are so cute. I haven't raised any kittens but someone will be along who can help you. Good luck with them.
