Just one night, 2 bowls of wood pellet turned sawdust, I quickly check water fountain to see if kitty had been drinking alot from it - the answer is 'No', water level didn't go down much, that tells me he didn't drink from it.

Did I add too much water into his wet food last night bcos I usually will add 1tbs of water and on top of that, I sometimes will add water into my container/can, swish it around and pour over his wet food. I really don't remember if I did that last night, lol. but it certainly is the 1st time I see a whole litter boxful of sawdust in just one night.

He isn't drinking alot, he is still eating well this morning, he just pees alot, can there be any problem with that? He does get 1/8cup of kibbles with 1/2 of 5.5oz canned each night.

It CAN mean that his kidneys aren't concentrating the urine properly, but if you might have added a lot of water to his canned it could just be that. I'd keep an eye on him---if it's a one time thing, no worries, but if it continues you should schedule a vet visit for bloodwork.

Thanks for responding, "It CAN mean that his kidneys aren't concentrating the urine properly", a possible CKD? He did vomit bile/clear foamy liquid and undigested food for 1week, but was ok the past 5days, I posted a thread in the Nutrition section about "When kibbles will be recalled", not sure if it can be related. Anyway, I have noted this incident and will keep an eye on him.
