OK - here we go. I have high blood pressure, high cholesteroll, low thyroid. I'm now on meds for the pressure, choleserol thyroid and am having a thyroid ultrasound on Friday. Also had a heart catscan today. Just got delivery of the nebulizer that the dr ordered for my bronchial infection. What else can go wrong? The chest ex-ray showed no sign of pneumonia (which she was afraid I might have had), just the bronchial infection. May have told you this - I'm not sure - the leg ultrasound showed sciatica and a touch of arthritis. The tech recommneded a chiropractor but Dr. Vicky did not recommend it. Actuallly my legs don't bother me as much now - maybe it's because my head is so wrapped up in everything else! The tech who did the echocardiogram last week said that I was the most "normal" one had done so far that day. Sounds good, but who knows what the others were. The catscan today checks for calcium in the heart. It is an elective procedure so we had to pay for it - $99..

Anyway, that's my story so far. I guess it's good that I FINALLY saw a dr. It's been a long time.

Will keep you posted and thanks again for your thoughts!

Well some more good news with some things that can be treated now to help you.  That's all good!  I hope you are feeling better now and I'm glad it's not pneumonia!

Had my thyroid ultrasound today. Tech said it looks good, no growth or mass, etc.
Taking my pressure, cholesterol and thyroid pills. It's no fun getting "old"!!!
