Question of the Day - Tuesday, February 11

Greetings! Happy Tuesday

What were your favourite childhood TV shows?
 

I have fond memories of Wishbone, Arthur, Bill Nye the Science Guy, The Magic Schoolbus, Rugrats, Recess and Hey, Arnold. My own personal "Golden Age" of kid shows.
 

I had also watched some anime, like Sailor Moon, Gundam Wing, DBZ and Escaflowne, leading up to my eventual nerdyness.

When l was really little l liked Bill and Ben, and Andy Pandy.

Later on l liked Blue Peter, Jackanory, and the Rolf Harris Show.

Ones I remember best are Top Cat, Marine Boy, Flipper, and Daktari.    

Had forgotten all about Daktari. It was must-see tv at the time. Thanks.

I know I am going to tell my age here. My favorites were The Lone Ranger and Flash Gordon.

Top Cat was definitely a favorite of mine. I remember every Wednesday I would rush through my homework and then flop on the couch and watch it. My friends and I even pretended that we were the Hoagy’s Alley cats from time to time.

Andy Pandy. Muffin the Mule. Prudence Kitten.
I can't remember any others.

Felix the Cat (the original cartoon, and I can still sing the song..)

I was torn between Skippy and Flipper in my post as felt my list was getting too long.

I forgot about Flipper!

I must say that I have been known to sit down with my knitting now and watch In the Night Garden.   I've got a bit of a thing for Iggle Piggle..

Unfortunate that he was indicted or that he turned out to be a pedophile.
I liked top of the pops as well.

Fraggle Rock, ALF, The Letter People, Winnie the Pooh, and some tween show with kids who would sing on a ranch. One girl's name was Melody. That's all I remember.

I had totally forgot about that show until I read your post.....oh the memories of childhood
