We have a stray kitten we found near our home.  She has folded ears like a Scottish Fold.  She is orange spotted and striped.  She has a very short bobbed tail.  She is built like a sports car~~Longer back legs and shorter front ones.  Her claws also do not retract.  She is healthy fun and energetic.  Does anyone have ANY idea what mixed breed she could possibly  be?

Very cute cat.  As far as I know there are only a couple of breeds with bobbed tails like that the manx and the japanese bobtail.  As for the ears, that is a scottish fold trait so maybe this kitty is a mix of a manx and scottish fold?

I would agree, she seems to be a cross with a Scottish Fold and a Manx.  Manx cats have somewhat longer back legs than other breeds.  As for the claws that don't retract, I don't have an answer.  I have a little rescued stray whose claws also do not retract.  I don't know what causes it, but her legs and feet are healthy other than that odd trait.

I agree seems like some cross between a Manx and Scottish fold. The only other cat I've heard of with both these traits is a " puppykat" It's not an actual recognised breed yet. But I do remember reading about it a few years ago but I think they are polydactyl ( extra toes ) as well.

Another Manx characteristic is their rather stocky body type.  I think you have a part-Manx there.  Good news, they are very smart and friendly!
