I'm new here, although I've been reading for a few days.

I haven't owned a cat in just over 10 years. Then, because of issues with our neighbour, we ended up with mice. So..we adopted a young female from my in-laws farm. They found her and her sibling in the ditch on the way home to the farm and brought them home.

Just my luck, she's pregnant. *smiles* Doesn't it figure? She is still fairly young and this is her first litter.

So here I am, learning about cat pregnancies and trying to remember as much as I can from my childhood. I grew up on a farm and cats were a big part of that.

Here is my Lilith, Lilly for short. We brought her home January 9th, and because she was adapting from being an indoor/outdoor cat to being indoors, I had her in a harness, just in case I had to catch her. Last thing I wanted to do was hurt her if I had to go after her.

She is, yes! Very efficient. Although, she keeps trying to gift my children with live ones. A bit disconcerting to wake up to.

LOL
Not so petite, at the moment! Looks like she swallowed a softball. :p She is less than a year old..that much we know.

I haven't had cats for 10 years. I have a large family..seven children..and am quite busy with our home business, homeschooling and everything that comes along with both of those. But, with having mice, I finally gave in. Doesn't it just figure that she'd be pregnant?

I can't say I mind too much. I love animals and she is a good cat. The hard part will be finding homes for them. This is a small town and our local shelter is too full. There are reasons for that which go beyond the actual cat population, though.

I may enlist the in-laws help to find good homes for the kittens. My kids have been trying to convince me to keep all of them...no. One, maybe. Not all of them!
