Given that I'm posting here, obviously I'm new to the site. I have two kitties, a mom named Midna and her now 8-month-old kitten named Maple. I started off fostering them for a rescue that I volunteer with, and of course I ended up as a failed foster because Midna turned out to be my dream lap cat! Maple was 6 weeks old when they arrived and, while he had at least one sibling, he was Midna's only kitten left by the time we were able to rescue them. Here are a couple pictures from when they first came in...you can see how terribly skinny Midna was at the time - only 6 pounds! 
Of course, they are in much better shape now! They are still very very much bonded to each other and snuggle together constantly, which is also part of why I couldn't bring myself to adopt them into separate homes. Midna is also very attached to me and wants to be on my lap most of the time that I'm home. Maple is more of a crazy playful guy and isn't too into being petted, but he will accept it and even get his motor going if he's tired enough.
