I would like Fancy Feast CLASSICs (or in Canada I think they are called GOURMET) better, because if the Brewers Rice, but all in all, not a bad food.  At least no wheat or corn
, and I think the by-products are of good quality, since the % of ash is reasonably low.

Thanks for your input mrsgreenjeens,

I will check out that other one you mentioned!

I was feeding my boyz wellness grain free chicken, but sometimes they like it and sometimes they don't, it also cost $4 a 13.5oz can!

I give the boyz raw food at night(natures instict) chicken medallions along with raw chicken hearts and in the morning I give them the PC cat food which costs $1 per 13.5 oz can!

They seem to be doing fine on it, but its only been a little over 2 weeks since I switched! I also never give dry, unless I am going away for a couple days!

Why not raw for both meals?

They are gorgeous, BTW

Thank you, they are so lovable. They follow me around from the minute I get home. They love to cuddle and play!

I don't feed them raw in the morning because if they don't eat it right away, it wouldn't be good for them!

It also becomes more expensive because I haven't learned to make my own raw diet for them yet! I would love to get one of those good Tasin TS-108 Electric Meat Grinders at some point and do it myself. They don't sell them in canada though!

Your kids are beautiful as well , I love their names, lol

Thank you!  Yes, it gets expensive to feed raw when you buy the premade stuff.  Someone else in Canada actually buys the pre-ground meats from Pennsylvania (Hare-Today) and has them shipped to the border and drives over into the U.S. to pick them up.  I guess she lives just a couple of hours from the U.S. Border, but I can't remember which Province she lives in
.

I used to feed ground raw with ground bones/organs, but now I feed strips of meat with a supplement on top (similar to TC Feline w/ Calcium) so I don't need a grinder, just a grocery store that sells different cuts of meat/chicken/turkey, etc..  And a local coop sells chicken hearts and livers and actually sells some grinds.  You could check into that and see if there are any coops in your area.  Usually they cater to dogs, but you can adapt the food to cats fairly easily.

I used to live in 1000 islands, so I was 5 min from the states!

I always buy chicken hearts and feed the boyz 4 or 5 a day each! They love them!

That is great advice! I imagine I can just order the supplement on line or go buy some calcium carbonate and taurine from health food store!

Thanks,

Well, I get mine from Hare Today, but TC Feline is a Canadian company, that's why I suggested them
.  I buy Alnutrin, which is everything rolled into one.  You just have to supply the meat and organs.  You can buy it for meat/organs/bone or just for meat/organs.  I believe TC feline is the same.  On the Raw Forum, there is a resources thread that has all kinds of info, including things like that.
