It's a little late for the question of the day k so maybe we can keep it going tomorrow......

Anyway, what are your thoughts on this year's games? Will you be watching? What are your favorite events?

Exams start on Monday, so I won't have much time to watch. I like the ice skating events most.

The terrorist threats have me a bit nervous, but security is probably extremely strict.

I know some people that are boycotting watching these Olympics for various reasons. I also like the ice skating the best.

I am not sure if I can watch it online. We only get tv through a roku box now so I will have to look into it. I enjoy the figure skating too. I'd like to see the opening ceremony too. They can be really beautiful and extravagant! It's neat to see what each host country comes up with and how they display their history and culture.

I'm not much into sports, but I do love the figure skating and hope to watch that. Looking forward to the opening ceremonies tonight.

I'm looking forward to seeing Jason Brown, the 19yr old who got silver in the US championship. A friend of mine placed a video from YouTube the other week and I thought the routine was amazing. I reckon he's gonna push Yvegany Pluschenko really hard for the gold medal. Am also looking forward to the bobsleigh, luge and skeleton. Here in the UK, we stand to win more medals in this Winter Olympics than we have for a long time.

I prefer skiing and snow boarding, don't care for the opening ceremonies as much. I do love the spirit of the games and it is too bad that has been some what ruined this year.....for various reasons

I would love to watch but have no clue of what time they will be showing it on the east coast of US. But I love the speed skaters and the Bob sled. Not sure if it's now called the louge

I don't have television, but I wouldn't be watching even if I did.  The Olympics have become too political for me to enjoy.  And I was unhappy about the choice of the location for this year's games anyway.  I would have preferred Austria.

i love womens hockey and that sport where they cross country ski....then target shoot....then ski some more. i don't know the name of it.  i wish the olympics were not country versus country but rather athletes vs. athletes,  but only amateurs....no professionals allowed...there still would be country listings and team uniforms and such but it would be like formula one where the drivers have their own world ranking....still have to have country teams though. maybe its better the way it is.

I admit to recording a lot of the primetime broadcast and watching it later so I can fast forward through the commercials and all of the fluff. There is just a lot of fluff.
