I've been thinking there's nothing good on TV for a few months. I wouldn't mind to much except I pay a fortune every month for the full sky package with on demand and everything. So I'm not impressed that all that is on is a load of rubbish and I'm paying for it.
I keep thinking thinking maybe I should cancel it but then I think it's got to get better soon

Oh my gosh!  This sounds like so much fun!  Okay, I'd like to start my babble with a little comment about my kitty babbler, Autumn.  Her name may be Autumn but she would never know it.  We have called her "Grunt" almost since when we rescued her almost 2 1/2 years ago.  We have no idea why, but she can't really meow like a normal cat.  Instead she honks and blares like a foghorn!  In fact that's another of her nicknames.  But she babbles and mutters and grunts to herself almost non-stop.  She's a total sound experience!

Aww, @AllMomsKitties, Grunt, aka Autumn sounds like a right little chatterbox, how cute.  Do you have converstations with her and make sounds back and forth between each other?  I always do that with my cats and suspect everyone that comes to the house and hears me must think I've completely lost it!
Mind you, I only do it quietly no matter how loud the cat might be, and my old girls were very loud.  I love the idea of a kitty wandering about chatting away to herself.

Oh yes, I definitely have little grunt and snort conversations with her!  I always tell her, "That's my BAY-bee!"  And she mutters and snorts at me, and i quack and grunt back at her!  Anybody remember the OLD Batman TV series with Adam West?  Remember the character The Penguin?  That's what I always think of when Grunt and I are making noises at each other! ...

I used to think Mouse was unusual the way he squeeks but actually it sounds like a lot of cats do it. Mind you, Mouse doesn't do other cat sounds like hiss spit or growl. It's just as well he purrs and meows in many tones including happy, plaintive, bored and demanding or I'd think I lived with a dog or a child..
Maybe it has something to do with their smooth tongues? :lol3: Mogli has been here almost a year, and we've never heard him hiss or spit. He does growl a little when he sees another cat, but it's sort of a squeaky growl or a growly squeak.

I'm not going to get expensive pillows. I can't see spending a small fortune on something that's not going to hold up. One brand I looked at cost €140 apiece (GBP 116, US $191) and only had a 3-year guarantee.

I think I need some new pillows. I might get try some feather pillows, I haven't had any of them for years. Ive just got foam ones at the moment
Are you SURE your cats won't object to feather pillows??  They might just decide you bought them the mother lode of fun stuff! ....

I've never thought I was a babbler. But I think I'm getting the hang of it and turning into one :flail:

I am wondering how I'm going to spend the weekend.  No more football (Woohoo Seahawks, BTW!
... Awesome Super Bowl win!)  We had an inch of snow last night, no big deal.  We are expecting another 4 inches or so  tonight.  NOW it's getting close to a medium deal...

@MServant... Give her a few years and DD might be able to tell you.  She gets a kick out of counting this way: 1, 2, 7, 9, 12....  lol  Bribe her with an M&M and she'll count right!  This kid...she's already talking about her next birthday.  Her birthday is in January.

I am trying to get my list together to grocery shop but things keep distracting me.  One step forward, 2 steps to the left, a bunnhop back ward, a twist and a shout and before you know it it's dark out and you still don't have  menu planned and only 1 of 2 children bathed.

Raine is currently being the most magnificent hot water bottle/comforter/furry pillow, sitting on my lap. Just a couple minutes ago he was chasing his catnip toy all around the house and then Bam! he just crashed into sleep mode. Work was very tiring today, so I am sleeping early.

All you guys getting the weekend off and partying and I'm sitting here thinking I should be going to bed coz I've got work tomorrow (not till 11 though), and then volunteering on Sunday afternoon.  My days off are Mondays and Tuesdays now but I quite like that as it suits well for meeting up with quite a few of my friends:-D

@MoochnNoodles,  you might want to check out this DD, she might just know the answer already!
I've got a brother that was like that according to my mom and sadly I don't think she was exaggerating....  nothing better for motivating a bit of arithmatic than calculating when your next batch of prezzies is due.
Sadly the days when years seemed to pass slowly and my birthdays took forever to come round are long gone and now they mount up like some evil trick being played on me.

Hey @AllMomsKitties, when I got my first apartment (this one many birthdays ago) I slept on a folded up old double duvet coz I didn't have a bed and the cats thought it was an extension of the floor so I got trampled on all night, and had no chairs so sat on a pile of cushions for about 4 months till I got an old wooden bench from my mom's house that the cushions could go on so it was a bit more comfy.  It was very low and if you sat down too fast and your head went back you'd hit it off the wall!
Your suggestion is just fine!  I loved my apartment and getting my 2 kitties so much I couldn't care less about having furniture.
