Those are pretty pictures.  I'm not a big photo person so I don't have any  but I just saw the guy in the building next to mine taking his Golden Retriever puppy out for a walk.  She is still really young not even quite half grown yet and she was having so much fun in the snow.  It was nice to see her having such a blast in this stuff, makes it a little easier to take.

That does help doesn't it?  My RB dog would prance and leap through the snow.
My cats are indoor only; but my Mom's go out.  Her long haired Olivia; well let out in this and she just looks offended.  I need to go find some of their summer pictures.  I take too many.

Someone post more before I hijack this thread or something!

MoochNNoodles that's Hatteras lighthouse isn't it
?

We drove SIL and BIL down there for the day in October.  Didn't make it to that one though.

Let me look through my phone and I'll put a couple of beach pictures on too.

Might take a bit the pictures on my phone and I'm having battery issues with the phone

I would like to contribute some flowers.....pictures taken throughout our yard.

This is from Ricketts Glen State Park in Pennsylvania. Rick and I like to visit there every 2-3 years and we walk the path up through all the waterfalls and then back down again. We go in July, usually the date of his church's chicken BBQ. We'll grab our chicken dinners and then go to the state park and have lunch. Then we'll walk the falls. The first time I walked here, I was 6 months pregnant. I forget how many waterfalls there are here, but there are a few.

I caught this snap of a beautiful flower last summer (apologies for the blurriness)- anyone have any idea what type it could be?

I dearly love blue hydrangeas....yours is beautiful. Do you feed yours? We had two of them, but one died and the other is not doing well, despite trying to feed the thing. Hardly any blooms anymore. We also have two PeeGee hydrangeas; one of those is also doing poorly, but the other one still gets huge blooms.

I know what that flower is, but I can't remember! I think we might have had some of those in the back garden. It reminds me of something, but......I just don't remember.

I'm in Philly and my car has been stuck between to piles of ice for the past 2 weeks. It hit 40 degrees last on Super Bowl Sunday and has been in the teens and twenties since. We have had 3 snow storms and 1 ice storm that sealed my cars fate. It snowed again last night another 4 inches and they are calling for heavy snow on Wednesday from your area Abby's Mom thanks a lot. 47" of snow so far this winter, I have had enough also. Everyone who is walking their dogs have booties on them from the salt on our pavements. Please summer, come soon. Anyone have a gun for Puxatonney Phil who saw his shadow and declared 6 more weeks of winter. Darn rodent! What a punk.

Winchester- is it this one?  This is Cape Henry Lighthouse, and you have to get onto the base at Fort Story to see it.  We went when BIL and SIL spent a week here.  Bil freaked when he heard that not only did we take Kristen (who was 8 months at the time) up there, but his daughter who was a teenager LOL (he doesn't like heights either)

Va Beach- 90 degree day

And yes- I finally figured out how to get pictures off my phone and onto the computer.  The phone is being upgraded in a few days due to a battery issue and they needed to be put somewhere so they don't get lost.  I feel so computer savvy!

Hatteras is in a park; like a state park.  We didn't climb either of the lighthouses we saw.  We were packing a lot into a few days!  Maybe next time!

The day we drove down to the Outer Banks, we walked on the beach, saw a lighthouse (I'll have to look back to see which one), had a doughnut at Duck Doughnuts (almost worth the 2 hour drive just to get them
) and then walked around the Wright Brothers memorial.

Never been there at tourist season.  I have a neighbor who goes there every year- her family has a house.  Not really motivated to fight tourists.
