I just had a talk with Abby about her getting a job to help pay for her expensive treats. She ignored me. :dk: All I got was the "you are bothering me" look. :lol3:

Hehe I do this all the time. I tell them they need to get a paper round :lol3:

So far today I have told Fleur how pretty and beautiful she is. She just looked at me as if to say "yeah tell me something I don't already know"

I've also told Marley he has got a knot on his back leg, that I will be getting out later whether he likes it or not. He gave me a filthy look

I demanded a Monet snuggle. He ignored me of course, but Cassie happily took the burden for Monet.

I asked them what they want for dinner, and what flavored food too.

Man, I need a boyfriend.

I explained to Riley that he was going on a diet since he has reached 17 pounds and that is just too much for his frame. Then I had to explain to Xander that he would have to go on a diet too since they eat together, lol.

They were not happy.

Funny thread!  Mine was with Molly: "No, Molly, you can't have dessert until you eat your dinner!"  She tried to skip the food bowl and gave me "the look" to give her treats instead.....

LOL. I have a boyfriend, but I still think I talk more to the cats.

I was excitedly telling Sebastian that I picked up some more of his food today, only to explain to him later that it wasn't the right food and I have to return it. I got down on the floor, showed him the food, and clearly pointed out to him what was different on the ingredients list. He looked at it....then he looked at me. He had that "Are you sh**in' me?" look in his eyes, and then his head lowered as if in despair. It was quite an exchange.

I told Mogli he would have an intetesting day because people were coming to dig up the street right in front of the house to fix the water mains. He can supervise from the kitchen window.

My kitty is a little bit sick.  She has seen a vet, and is ok, minus one thing... um... her bum is leaking some loose poo.  I had a conversation with her when I got home from work and cleaned up the mess.  I told her she needs to learn to control her anus, and to wipe her butt on one area of the carpet!  What I got in return was a new poo mark to clean haha.  Thankfully it is just a bit, and most is in the litter box, but really kitty, control that anus!

Me:  Why did you wee in a completely empty, clean litter box?  There's no litter in it!  There's just a pool of wee sitting there!  Why did you do that??

Sundar: (The cat look that means):  Because it was there.

Well today we talked about how easy she has it. There seems to be a recurring theme here, no? We shoveled, came in and there she was sleeping on her heated pad. :lol3: Again, she really didn't want to hear it. :dk:

Me to Spike- "I know you want me to give you some love but I did for 5 minutes. I  need to go to work!"

Spike- Meowing pitifully and giving me a look

Me to spike- "ok  I'll pet  you for a few more minutes but that's it. I mean it!!"

Spike- Meowing again...

Me to Spike- "No, that's it. (petting quickly)  I need to go.."

RUNNING TO THE DOOR BEFORE I SEE SPIKE MEOWING AGAIN!

every morning goes like this:

Charlie wakes me up with head licks and chirps.

Then him and Jet both chirp till i let them out of the bedroom.

then they both show their discontent by scratching at the bathroom door when i go in there without them.

when i open the door Jet lets me have it, series of loud angry meows. i apologize, and she comes and rubs on my legs while i brush my teeth, etc.

then they leap for joy and chirp and call and meow to let me know how hungry they are when they see me walk into the kitchen.

after that there is just a bunch of me talking to the cats asking them to be good for the day while i'm at work, and that "mommy will be back soon i promise", but they're too busy eating and ignoring that.

When i come home i get meows from Charlie letting me know that he missed me and he happily lets me carry him (for 30 secs)

and jet follows me around chirping until i pick her up. if i ask her how her day went she just lets out a long meow and jumps at me to pick her up. and we continue the conversation through pets, cuddles, and purrs.

my babies :)

I let Monty get settled into my nap after lunch so we could go over our online bank statement and discuss all those entries for veterinary care over the last 2 months.

After a minute or so of watching my mouse pointer run around the screen and trying to touch it .. a sudden overwhelmingly rabbit smell wafted up just beneath my chin.  He looked at me, stretched, jumped and trotted away.  Discussion over

OMG has anyone had moments where, clearly you're having a conversation with your cats, but you're talking in your normal voice (and not your cat voice, everyone has that cat voice) and your significant other would respond or reply because they thought you were talking to them???

HAHAHAHA

my poor boyfriend.
