So glad to hear about the spaying!I was trying so hard to hold my tongue!I thought you just let her have kittens, kittens, and more kittens!I work in rescue and TNR so you probably see why I was concerned!PLEASE EVERYONE SPAY AND NEUTER!

No I have enjoyed this so will be taking in more strays when kittens homed. No need to breed my own cats, plenty of cats out there who need us all

I am not stupid and i am fully aware of the fact there are so many homeless cats. Accidents happen and as I have said I found out because she had an appointment to be spayed! She will be spayed as soon as she can be. There was no need for that comment. Lets just be thankful mummy and babies are healthy and doing just fine.

Yes they do lol. I just didnt think that comment was very fair. I did not want her to be pregnant. I was almost in tears watching her last night in pain . I love all my cats and recue cats very much (all but her have been spayed/neutered by the way) x

I too had a weep when I got told by a vet she was expecting it was a total shock my little lady has already been booked in to be spayed in 4-6 weeks time depending if she's still feeding and it has already been paid for !!! People are quick to judge but half of them don't ask they just presume I for one didn't expect this stray cat to get pregnant as once she was in she hated to go out all the best with the kittens xx

Yeah I was shocked and vet asked me why and vet said bring her in and we get rid of them and she told me they were 5 weeks

I don't think mentioning nurturing would make people who have no intention of doing it then would start doing it. And people who are going to don't need telling really.

Vckitty I'm sorry if you felt attacked picked on in anyway my apologies and I also don't understand why they do it I couldn't leave her out in this horrid weather were having in the uk at the moment pitch has only been here since oct/nov and she's a lovely lady very petite she weighed 3.8kgs 10 days before having her 3 babies yesterday so very tiny for a 3 yr old xx

Its funny because I had an appointment for last month for both my cats who were also rescued to get fixed and I only got him fixed because she got away and thats the first thing that happened to her. .pregnant. ..do you know what the lady at the vet place told me? She is not that far off why dont you bring her in and we can spay her and she will have an abortion. ..I was sooo mad I hung up the phone after I told her I would not do that to my cat.

Im all for the spaying the pet population but I will not abort any babies...I will keep them and find homes for them. If not I will keep them myself. And im sorry if some think differently but thats just me and I hope you can respect that.
