Hello all! My buddy is a 6yo male (11~lb) that had PU surgery about a year ago. I found him in the woods bordering a busy 4 lane road when he was 1.5 months old. He had multiple infections and a serious case of the worms. He got all fixed up and was healthy up until the weekend from h e double hockey sticks. His first blockage resulted in the surgery due to the fact that it was to far damaged from his licking and crystals. I though he was just sick so let it slide for a day and a half till'  I knew he had to be taken to the emergency clinic. He has remained healthy since and is still a pleasure to be around. Now to the subject at hand....

Up until the surgery I didn't feed him the best of foods, didn't know any better. It was primarily dry with grocery store wet twice a day. After surgery I had him on C/d for the first month and then transitioned to EVO and Innova. He then grew tired of the Evo so I started giving him just Innova (C+T) in the mornings and Friskies Special diet (Beef+Chicken) in the afternoon and evening.. It has gone very well since then but I want to add new foods into the mix as I want more than 2 in rotation....

So that's where Triumph and Evangers comes into play. They are reasonably priced and offer a decent ingredients list. These are the two foods, one from each company that I'm considering..

Note that the Triumph site lists the liver as being that of pork, I copied/pasted that ing list from PFD.com.

I think the ingredients are good for both the chicken and the turkey. Try both flavors out on him and see if he likes them.

Well I found a place locally that sells Evangers in pretty limited quantities. Ended up with The chicken lickin' and the beef flavor. Just fed him the chicken and he devoured it, the beef will be fed tonight. We'll see he can hold it together coming out the other end. :)

I'll also add that pfd lowered it $4/case today to 13.50 for a 12/13oz. Chewy has it for $15.
