Hello All

My two boys and I wanted to say HI and thank you for the warm welcome already!!

The boys are Cheeku, 1 1/2 years old male, rescued when he was about 3 months old and now grown into a handsome young man.

And Obi, rescued when he was a little over 2 months old, is now 5 months. He's been with us exactly one month today

and has come a long way.

I'm a world citizen more or less. Growing up in Germany, lived in California for over 15 years and have been now in Kenya for the last couple years and intent to stay as long as they'll have me

What beautiful boys!  What do you mean about Ibu having come a long way?  Was he ill when you took him in?  He sure looks healthy and happy now!

We think he must have been abused, kicked, and it looked like his little whiskers where cut off on one side. His tummy was very bloated, hence under nourished and he was super shy & skittish. We got his tummy under control, now next thing is getting neutered probably next week.

We are still in the 'getting used to each other' phase with Cheeku and I hope things will 'calm' down after the op. It's been quite a learning curve to introduce these two, but we are making slow process, and I understand it can take some time. Ish

Oh, poor baby.  Well he's got a safe and happy home now!  There are lots of good threads here about introducing kitties to each other if you need suggestions or help.
