This is 'Hop-Along Cassie' or 'Hoppi' for short.  She doesn't have her right hind foot.  But the way she is laying here, her leg is tucked under, and you can't see it.

She is about 10 years old now, and came up to us as a stray 2 month old kitten.  We think she had been thrown in bag into the river--we live on a river--and she was lucky enough to escape.  She will NOT permit herself to be put into any kind of carrier, and is adamant about it.  The one time I got her to the vet--to get her fixed--was the only time I have been able to get her there..  So any medical treatment, I have to handle at home.

She is very loving and affectionate, but still can be 'wild'.  She hisses at anything or anyone she doesn't like.

These pictures are of one of my new kittens, 'Shadow' and the Yorkie/Pug' mix we babysit for our god-daughter, who is working in Atlanta right now.

When 'Yorkie' realized what was going on here with his kitteny brother, he got up and went to the farthest corner of the bed, with an audible HARRRUMPF!!

I haven't been able to get get pics yet of the other kitten, or the other adult cat.

Awww, poor Hoppi.  But she's sure in a good place now!  How funny about Yorkie stomping off when he realized he was being snuggled up to by a CAT of all things!

I also posted the pics of Shadow and Yorkie in the Black Cat section.  I hope that is all right.
