This sounds odd but I’m sure there's a logical explanation. At the office we have been caring for a small group of ferals for some years. The groups is 4 'core' members with 2 floating 'guests' that come on occasion. They're all fixed and clipped ears.

One of the 'core' group is an older female, gray tabby. Thing is she used to be the 'queen' of the 'power couple' with the 'king' a yellow tabby, until recently when a young lad appeared, a grey-black-

white male of about 8-10 months (and fixed last week), and now the King hangs with him and has left the Queen out. Before he was fixed and we found out he's a male we thought the king had just replaced his bride with a younger one

But now the queen sleeps in the other side of our building now, and is afraid to come near the food. One time she got close to the bowl and the young gun hissed at her, wouldn’t let her eat.

We wonder if she's sick, but she seems ok. When I go to her hiding place and coerce her to come for food she just comes and starts eating, of course when the young one is out of sight. The King just stays there minding his own business and doesn’t defend her or anything, like I thought he would.

Is this just normal feral power struggles?

The scheme is still about the same after the fixing; I thought over time Young MC will cool it and let the queen eat, but so far it hasn't happened. I'm tempted to go over 'her' side of the building and set up another feeding station but I feel this will only create expectation and maybe attract even more cats. (?)

Yeah, it's common feral behavior (or even non-ferals); one day you're in, the next day you're not. (Allusion to a "Project Runaway"--watching too much tv these days....)
Any time a new cat comes into the colony the dynamics change somewhat. It depends on the personalities of all whether they sort it out. And, in this case, how much food is available.
Twiddledee and Twiddledum were close and stayed together a lot; they are presummed litter mates because they showed up at the colony the same time and look identical except Tdee's spots are all black and Tdum's have some gray in them (like Dalmatian dogs). About six months later a set of tuxedo cats started coming around. Fast forward another six months. I installed a rudimentary winter shelter (unlike Panama, it gets COLD here in Maryland, as in zero degrees or below recently). Somewhat to my surprise, the more friendly Tuxedo and Twiddledee sleep in the shelter together, not Tdee and Tdum. Interestingly, Twiddledee has always been friendier, less scared, than Twiddledum.
Regarding creating another feeding station: I would have the same hesitation and reservations--attracting even more cats and expectation. I'd keep on doing what you're doing and let the community cats sort it out.
Now, if you notice the Queen starting to lose weight, then I might intercede. "Hercules II" is somewhat food agressive. So once or twice (weather permitting), I've sat down between Twiddledee and Hercules II, placed two plates of food beside them, and they ate more or less peacefully.
(I've done something similar when I was TNRing--making sure the cats I did not want to trap ate the food and shooed-away the cat(s) I did need to trap.)
