Day at the Mountains (warning, lots of pix)

I went to the mountains for a fall hike and it was sooo pretty I had to snap some pictures. Unfortunately I left my digital at home so these are kinda crappy, taken with a disposable and then scanned (ugh). But still pretty Taken at the Ohiopyle State Park in the Allegheny Mountains of Pennsylvania, which I am fortunate enough to live very close to (debatable in the winter..).. The Youghiogheny River is the subject of most of the pictures, and these do not do it justice.. I feel so at one with nature here

those are some nice snap shots, i know what you mean about being around nature at its best like this, it sounds so peaceful, but you know what there are stupied people even wanting to tear up the peaceful nature, i cant figure looks like you guys had a great day

Thanks At one point I climbed the rocks to the middle of the river and a snake slithered out. I am amazed I didn't fall in because I started running, skipping from rock to rock which was very dangerous on my part, considering how rough the river is.. It was rather funny afterwards though
