Kitten Bowl coming up

This is the first year that the Super Bowl will have competition from the feline teams.  The Hallmark Channel is hosting the first time Kitten Bowl that from the previews looks and seems to be a delightful time to be had by all.  It shows starting at 12:00 noon this next Sunday (Eastern Standard Time).   Anyone interested will probably find a good time being had by all.

For canine lovers there is also a Puppy Bowl being shown at the same time on the Animal Planet Channel.

I saw that!  It looks like it will be cute.

I watched the Kitten Bowl and while it was a little repetitive, it was darling and I was amazed that the cats (both of them) sat in front of  the television and would pat at the screen and watch for a while then go nap or play and soon they were back and doing it all over.  It was entertaining watching them too.

Yeah, it was cute!  I don't think our cats were too impressed    but I enjoyed it. I loved the ref's calls--"unnecessary cuteness", "substance abuse violation" (too much catnip).

My dog stood up to "play" with the kittens at times,  tippy toes and head tilted.  The cats do not normally care about  the tv except one episode of emergency vets when a cat growled loud and they all took off.
