Hello all,
I have posted 2 posts here before and now I realize I should have introduced myself first. I live in North Carolina and have been married for 33 years. I have 2 cats. There's Dagny who wandered into our yard 4 years ago as a 5 month old kitten. We adopted him and he is a house cat. (I have some health issues on him I discussed in the other threads). My second cat is Gatito. He is 7 years old and is also a house cat. I adopted him 9 months ago when my 23 year old daughter died 4-11-13. They are both great cats and I adore them. I love dogs too, but our 5 year old chocolate lab Savannah escaped her invisible fence outside 1-19-14 (my daughter's birthday) and got killed. We are heartbroken over that too. Nothing comparable to the death of our daughter, but just another heartbreak on top of it.
I'm a registered nurse for the past 20 years but have not been able to work since my daughter's unexpected death.
I'm glad that I found you all. Oh, both my cats are domestic short haired (regular cats of no specific breed )
Below is Gatito.
Now here is my fat cat Dagny. (I know...he needs to lose weight).
