Well, and here I thought I had a cat that would eat everything but the kitchen sink.

I fed him one brand of canned Turkey last night - I found a very small amount of puke this morning by my bedroom door.

Cleaned it up, didn't think much of it.

I fed him breakfast - 3 oz can of Fancy Feast Turkey&Giblet.  He puked a fair amount 8 hours later.

I have been giving him a small amount of slippery elm bark, but I highly doubt that's an issue.  Considering it's actually helped his poop frequency - he's back to 1 poop / day. Hopefully that stays.

All I can think of is that it's the supermarket brand of Turkey&Giblet I got.  I doubt it's the Fancy Feast since he's had that before. Yet who knows.

Plan of Attack:

Put Probiotics into his dinner tonight and give him some coconut oil (teaspoon?)

Switch to Chicken,Beef, Lamb or Duck since he's had no issues there.

He's really jealous of the keyboard right now - have to go!!!

Any suggestions?

Yep sounds like the turkey does not agree with him.

I agree that you should switch him back to other flavours you had no issues with. I cannot help with the coconut oil or probiotics sorry as I have no experience with this.

Good luck

I've got to do some research on coconut oil still.  I'm on the fence about using any type of plant oil  during meals as I've heard oils can prevent the nutrients from absorbing.  But then again, I've heard that that's not true.  Who do you believe?
That's why I need to do more research

As far as the turkey "allergies", could be.  Did those foods you fed him also have wheat gluten, corn or any other similar icky food in them that none of the other cans have?  I'm guessing probably not, but am asking none the less.

Hmm, no the supermarket brand was slightly different, in that it had carrageenan and fish down the list.

Having said that, I have fed other canned brands/food, including Evo95% that had carrageenan or some Beef that had fish in it.

Who knows, its ingredients were different than the 3 oz. version, which he had no problem with previously - so I'll be reverting to that instead of the large can.

I've only had him ~ 3 weeks, it's still trial/error phase I'd say.
