I recently ordered a bunch of cat food and they had this on sale. Dandy had a can of their regular Beef & Pea (I think) and she ate it okay so I took a chance since venison tends to be so expensive.
Boy does this have a strange texture. It has a lot of reviews, most of them positive but I didn't see any that mentioned the sticky weird consistency. She's eating it, at least so far, but it's no favorite. If she doesn't care for it, she eats some, then comes back out to the kitchen, apparently hoping that there's a replacement. Then she eventually goes back and finishes it. I won't reorder it but I sure can't afford all NVI.
Does anyone have tricks for this stuff? I added water but I'm not sure that helped. When she left a little and I put water in the dish, it was like grain/meal so I think it may be that pea flour.
